Commencement of Second Language Scheme

The Central Bank’s second Language Scheme 2016-2019 has been confirmed by Joe McHugh TD, the Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs. The Scheme shall remain in force for a period of three years from 18 January 2016 or until a new scheme has been approved. The Scheme sets out the measures the organisation intends to take over the next three years in order to provide an improved level and standard of services through Irish. These measures are in addition to those services already required under the Official Languages Act 2003.

Tá an dara Scéim Teanga 2016-2019 de chuid an Bhainc Ceannais daingnithe ag an Aire Stáit na Gaeltachta, Joe McHugh TD. Beidh an Scéim nua i bhfeidhm ar feadh tréimhse trí bliana ón 18 Eanáir 2016 nó go dtí go ndaingneofar scéim nua. Leagtar amach sa Scéim na bearta a ghlacfaidh an eagraíocht sna 3 bliana amach romhainn d’fhonn leibhéal agus caighdeán feabhsaithe seirbhísí trí Ghaeilge a chur ar fáil. Is bearta de bhreis ar na seirbhísí a cheanglaítear faoi Acht na dTeangacha Oifigiúla 2003 na bearta seo.
