The Central Bank’s Role as Registrar for Irish Government Bonds

The Central Bank of Ireland is responsible for the maintenance of the Register of Irish Government Bonds on behalf of the NTMA and the Housing Finance Agency (HFA).  This role includes acting as Registrar in addition to effecting dividend and redemption payments to account holders of bonds issued on the domestic market by the NTMA and the HFA.
