Crowdfunding service providers – Update to industry notice and publication of Questions and Answers (2nd Edition November 2022)

The Central Bank of Ireland (“the Central Bank”) has updated its industry notice on its website following the extension of the transitional arrangements for existing crowdfunding service providers. The industry notice is available here.

In addition to the above, the Central Bank has updated its Questions and Answers (“Q&As”) document for crowdfunding service providers (2^nd Edition November 2022).

The latest publication is available here and included in the latest edition are Q&As in relation to (i) the extension of the transitional arrangements and (ii) the applicability of the Addendum to the Consumer Protection Code 2012.
