The Central Bank publishes an industry letter in relation to a thematic review examining the primary and secondary market trading arrangements of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) in Ireland.

The Central Bank has published an industry letter (PDF 118.17KB) in relation to a recently completed review of the primary and secondary market trading arrangements of Irish authorised ETFs (‘Review’). The purpose of the letter is to highlight the key findings from the Review, to set out the Central Bank’s expectations and highlight actions to be taken by the boards of Fund Management Companies (FMCs). Where appropriate, FMCs are required to incorporate the necessary changes to their frameworks and practices by the end of Q2 2025.
