President Michael D. Higgins will launch the Central Bank’s new Phil Lynott Commemorative Coin on Tuesday 19 November. The event will take place at St. Kevin’s College, Crumlin, the former secondary school of Phil Lynott.
Central Bank Deputy Governor Sharon Donnery, who hails from Crumlin, will also address the school, and present President Higgins with the first coin of the 3,000 coin issuance.
Representatives from the school and the Lynott Family will also address the event.
