A meeting of the Financial Industry Forum Innovation Sub-Group took place in the Central Bank on 24 January.  The purpose of this sub-group is to facilitate strategic dialogue between the Central Bank and the financial sector on the ongoing enhancement of innovation in the financial system. The Innovation Sub-Group will consider the roles for all financial system participants, while having regard to addressing emerging risks and realising potential benefits. It is one of 3 sub-groups established by the Financial Industry Forum (also including domestic and international focused sub-groups) to facilitate more granular policy-discussions.
