On 9 December 2019, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s securities markets regulator, published its second annual report regarding supervisory measures carried out and penalties imposed by national competent authorities (NCAs) under the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
