ESMA publishes translations for Guidelines on MiFID II remuneration requirements

On 3 April 2023, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) issued the official translations of its Guidelines on certain aspects of the MiFID II remuneration requirements.

National Competent Authorities (NCAs) to which these Guidelines apply must notify ESMA whether they comply or intend to comply with the Guidelines.  The Guidelines will apply from 3 October 2023.

The Central Bank of Ireland has notified ESMA that it complies with the Guidelines which are published on the following Central Bank of Ireland webpage.
