Central Bank publishes letter in response to queries received regarding the outcome of the thematic review of the implementation of its framework for governance, management and oversight in fund management companies

On the 8 December 2020, the Central Bank issued a letter (PDF 282.25KB) to Irish Funds in response to queries received relating to the outcome of the Central Bank’s thematic review (PDF 614.8KB) of the implementation of its framework for governance, management and oversight in fund management companies.

The letter addresses the impact of the Central Bank’s resourcing expectations on Regulation 104 of the Central Bank UCITS Regulations 2019 (the Effective Supervision Rule) and is an extension of the original CP86 Review Letter.
