Central Bank published revised AIF Rulebook and Twenty-Third Edition of the AIFMD Q&A

In issue 7 (2016) of Markets Update, published on 25 November 2016, the Central Bank published a notice of intention to amend the requirements for loan origination Qualifying AIF set out in the AIF Rulebook.  The notice highlighted the intention that the changes would be effective from 3 January 2017 when the Central Bank would publish a revised AIF Rulebook.  On 3 January 2017 the Central Bank published the revised AIF Rulebook together with the twenty-third edition of the AIFMD QA (PDF 1.32MB) containing new questions ID 1117 – ID1122 on loan origination Qualifying Investor AIF.
