On 13 December 2023, following a twelve week public consultation, the Central Bank of Ireland published a Feedback Statement and consolidated Guidelines (PDF 462.86KB) relating to the enhanced Administrative Sanctions Procedure.
The ASP Consultation set out the Central Bank’s proposed approach to changes to the ASP introduced directly by the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023 and additional changes to reflect the Central Bank’s experience of using the ASP for over a decade.
The Central Bank of Ireland’s Director of Enforcement and Anti-Money Laundering Seána Cunningham will host a discussion and engagement session with Central Bank representatives and event attendees. Following this session, attendees will be invited to tour our new Inquiry facilities.
Attendance is by invitation.
