The Central Bank of Ireland’s mandate and mission of protecting consumers and safeguarding financial stability underpins our approach to dealing with Brexit. We have been considering Brexit-related issues for two years and, as part of this, we have been seeking to ensure that financial services firms are adequately prepared and resilient enough to cope with the possible effects of Brexit.
